We suppose that’s what we’re trying to find out, too. We loves our lives in Portland, but we feel the tug of the world’s biggest challenges and our hearts’ desire to help find solutions. We’re setting out on an adventure of learning, listening, and lending a hand, where ever we can. We hope to use the skills we’ve been given, water sanitation, and health care, and pick up a few along the way. We want to be part of God´s movement toward restoration in the broken places of our beautiful world. We hope you’ll join us. We need your help. We believe we’re all in this together, and there is part you’re meant to play. Thank you for joining us!

The world is full of suffering.

It is also full of overcoming it.”

  2. I’m excited to follow your adventures through this blog. Seth and I were talking about different couples that have impacted us, and although we didn’t know you well during your time at evergreen, you still had an impact on us. You guys live a simple and beautiful life, very inspiring.

    Hey,

Dan Brown came home to Augusta and gave me your blog address. Wow! I am so excited for you (and not just a little bit jealous). It’s good to see your joy in serving our big God in our big world (made a bit closer through blogging).(Scott, I hope to meet you some day.) I am going to try really hard to come out to Portland this summer. I hope you are around. I like having a way to keep up with you a little, Glad, even if it’s half way around the globe through my laptop screen. :0)

Blessings and peace to you both.

Hedlunds have gone to the states with the OT for last minute work before printing so makuma is quiet now.

Rebecca- No worries. I’ll e-mail you and see if we can’t track down the problem. I totally understand. We try and keep things pretty vague for just that reason. Take care!
